Description
Sugo alla puttanesca, literally “Whore’s sauce” in Italian, is a tangy sauce invented in southern Italy in the mid-20th century. There are a number of regional variations. Traditionally, the sauce is served with spaghetti, although it also goes well with penne, bucatini, and vermicelli.
